We're excited to welcome Abby Kristan to the board!

Abby serves as the Community Engagement Manager at Casella Waste Systems, a resource management company headquartered in Rutland, VT. Her professional area of focus includes strengthening the company’s community engagement efforts specific to employee volunteering, educational outreach, and community giving. 

Abby joined the board of Girls on the Run in 2022 to work alongside an incredible group of women helping to create a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. She is inspired by young girls across the state who are dedicated to strengthening their sense of self while being joyful, healthy, and confident and is motivated by their actions to help make the world a better place for future generations. 

In her free time, Abby enjoys spending time with her husband and black lab pup at her home in Southern, VT. Her favorite activities include fly fishing, gardening, and keeping her sourdough starter alive!
